ROCHELLE
Born and raised in the club, Rochelle knows the sacrifices she must make as Drifter’s ol’ lady. But how big should those sacrifices be?

View AllWas ok!Super quick read - The story itself is interesting, but lacking in execution imo, its not completely terrible, but it seemed inconsistent and I felt some research could have helped eg a baby born at 30 weeks, there would have been intervention there for starters (I feel like I am being super picky, but i read a lot so perhaps my expectations are high)....there are so many mc books around that are really gritty, this one just fell short.I didn't feel the chemistry with Drifter and Rochelle, all they seemed to do was fight and f$ck and also no real character development... the on page cheating is not for everyone, the excuse for it was weak (he was drunk), however the club ho touched and gave him a lap dance (which he got aroused by) when he was stone cold sober.... so yeah, it was also completely obvious what she was after and he just didn't see it... not the smartest guy!Personally I didn't think he grovelled enough "leaving someone alone" is not grovelling... then they were just back together. The start felt slow... yet the ending felt rushed and left me wanting more!
