the rattling of shells, the sunset sketches, the unheard voices, the creepy dolls. everything here scared me. specially the few last parts. reading this book felt like something which we can't see or explain has always been here for many years or decades, believing in supernatural activities when we were kids was easy, but after we grow up, we tend to not speak about that or ignore it for the best, but in this book, the thing has found its way to come back, to haunt, to disturb, to kill I love reading horror books, and this has given me some creeps. loved the detailed part of his paintings and the bond between Edgar and his daughter. only disappointing thing for me was the size, it stretched too long. I know this is one of the way of King's novels but among all the books I've read so far from him, this really took a long way to buildup the world.
