View AllI enjoyed reading "Dune Messiah." It takes place twelve years after the events of the first book and follows the transformation of Paul, who has become the emperor. He has matured significantly and is almost unrecognizable compared to his previous self. This sequel completely shifts the tone set in the first book and delves into profound discussions about religion, laws, and the burdens that come with wielding power. The book explores these themes in a captivating manner, drawing the reader into a world of political intrigue. The ending of the book took me by complete surprise and left me feeling shocked. The intricate plotting and the way the story unfolded kept me engaged from start to finish. I can't wait to continue with the series.
