I wish it had been a 5⭐, because the story was so captivating, the message and the discussion of femicides and how prevalent they still are in South America and all around the world fills me with sadness and anger. The writing was SO good, so ethereal and mysterious and dark.I think this story is too provocative, too important, to have been told in 200 pages. It made everything feel rushed. I wish this was a longer book or a full series.
