Reviews
View All A Little Life is a book written for the internet, because it is divisive in terms of the characters, their relationships and the author itself. While their are plenty of other reviews and critics diving deep into the book itself, I do think it is a once in a lifetime read and one hell of a conversation starter.
No words. This was so heartwrenching and beautiful and gorgeously written
✨️Book Review✨️A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5Most depressing book I have ever read. Don't get me wrong there were some great characters in the book and the relationship between Jude and his lifelong friends was great. But it was so depressing and sad and chaotic and just full of the stuff in life no-one should have to deal with. There's a lot of triggers in this book, please check before reading. D3ath, rap3, suicid3, self-harm and much much more. Do not read this book if you are in a bad headspace mentally!!!! Absolute beastly length of an audiobook at 33 hours and I finished it with approx. 5 minutes before it was due to be returned with the library. I'm not sure if I'm glad I persevered with it, as there was no glimmer of hope in this at all. The only thing I can say is, it define makes you appreciate your life.
