Description
Here is the first of Kierkengaard's important contributions to Danish literature. In these two volumes he has contrasted an ethical view of life with a purely aesthetic attitude. The occasion for the production of this remarkable book lay in his unhappy engagement to Regina Olsen and its subsequent breach.
