Meanwhile, in Blue Mountain, Winnowill has deemed herself Lord after the death of Lord Voll and is using her magic, joined with the hypnotic effect of the Great Egg to take over the Gliders, with the exception of the Chosen Eight, and has PLANS...

In the Frozen North, while Rayek and Ekuar live in the Palace of the High-Ones Kahvi, chief of the Go-Backs is pregnant and Rayek is sure the baby is his.

And, in Sorrow's End, the SunFolk and the 5 WolfRiders who remain (Rainson, Woodlock, Newstar, Wing and Dart) are integrating and Dart has even formed a new pack with Wolf/Jackal hybrids and is the Chief of the Jackwolf Riders.

And, Winnowill has sent Aroree to fetch some preservers so she can further dominate the Gliders' magic...
