Description
But when his oldest brother looks at him with sad eyes and asks for a favor, Emery can't bring himself to say no. Even though that favor is helping a man Emery has spent years avoiding.
For good reason.
Several, actually.
Dillon Montgomery clearly does not feel the same way because he likes to bring it up. He also likes to press all of Emery's buttons, get under his skin, and make him forget why he needs to keep pretending Dillon Does Not Exist.
Dillon is a single dad with a business and very little free time. He shouldn't be playing games with his best friend’s younger brother, but...he never was good at telling Emery no.
One completely reasonable arrangement.
Emery has delusions and rules.
Dillon has hope and patience.
Both of them are running out.
Emerson is an M/M romance novel intended for readers 18+ with a guarunteed HEA.

View AllEmerson by Kat MaroweAfter reading To Ghosts & Gravity, I knew I needed to read more from Kat Marowe. So when I saw she was releasing a brand-new series and that book one, Emerson, was coming out in late October, I was SO excited. And then I got the email saying I had been chosen to read it early?! I was freaking out. 😂Needless to say, I opened that book immediately—and finished it in less than 24 hours.First, Emerson. 🥹 This man is the most lovable, spicy character, and I absolutely adore everything about him. His heart, his personality, his relationship with his family… I just loved getting to know him. He is the kind of character you can't help but root for from the very beginning. And then there’s Dillon. UGH. 💚 This man is a GIANT green flag. Good dad? Check. Good partner? Check. Good friend? Absolutely. I loved how accepting he was of Emerson and how he never asked him to be anything other than exactly who he was. Even when Emerson was fighting his own feelings, Dillon stuck by him and gave him the patience and support he needed. These two together were EVERYTHING. ❤️This book was the perfect combination of funny, sweet, spicy, emotional, and swoony. I laughed, I smiled, I swooned, and I spent the entire book rooting for Emerson and Dillon to figure it all out.I absolutely love Kat Marowe’s writing style and, especially, her character development. She has such a way of creating characters who feel real and making you become completely invested in their stories. From the very first page to the last, I was all in.Emerson was everything I wanted it to be and more, and now I’m already impatiently waiting for the rest of this series. 😂I cannot WAIT to read more from this series!
