Description
Alberto Bevilacqua is well known in Italy for his novels, going back to This Kind of Love in 1968, a book that also became a successful motion picture. But nothing in his career had prepared his readers for Eros, a book that is a candid, poetic accounting of the moments and thoughts and feelings he has shared with women he has known, and a consideration of the synthesis of carnal and spiritual passion contained within the ancient Greek word for "love."
