Description
Western Frontier 1889
More than anything, Evelyn Donnelly wants to become a doctor. However, the world she lives in doesn’t approve of female physicians, so she assumes her dreams of medicine will always remain elusive. Then Max Washington, apprentice to Dr. Simon O’Toole, has to briefly leave Cripple Creek, and Evelyn suddenly sees the opportunity of a lifetime.
For a few short weeks, Evelyn helps Dr. O’Toole out in almost every capacity, proving her worth again and again.
She’s living the dream…and then it comes crashing down.
She and Max butt heads constantly.
But can their love last through the chaos that’s about to descend upon Cripple Creek once more?
