Description
Fabrice Hybert won the 1997 Venice Biennale, where he transformed the French Pavilion into a TV studio. Hybert emerged in the 1980s with his "homeopathic paintings", and has often created densely layered works in which writing, drawing, and photography are combined under a sheath of resin. Born in France in 1961, he is perhaps the most singular artistic figure of his generation.
