Fence book one by C.S. Pacat and Johanna the Mad is a fun and fast-paced graphic novel centered on rivalry and competition. The story is easy to follow even if you don’t know fencing, and the character dynamics are what really stand out. The art is expressive and adds a lot of energy to the matches and emotions.The only downside is that it feels a bit like an introduction, ending just when things start getting more intense.
