First, I read the prequel August, a short novel about Finn's cousin, and that's why I ended up reading Finn, because it left me curious about the Moore men.The book was okay, I didn't love it, but I didn't feel like I wasted my time reading it either. There were some funny moments that were enjoyable to read. The book was moderately entertaining. Although I didn't always like Finn and Ash; sometimes they were idiots, ha ha ha, because of their decisions or how they behaved, so I couldn't connect with them. What I did like were the tender moments they had.Something I found excessive was the daddy kink, ha ha ha, I skipped the last spicy scenes. It's not that it's bad, it's just that it bored me a little, maybe because it was mentioned too much. Now I know that's not my thing.I also would have liked to see more scenes between Finn and his son Tucker, or between the three of them (Finn, Ash, and Tucker), because I felt that the family relationship lacked a little more development. But even so, the book left me wanting to read the second one, which is about Hollis, Finn's brother. My rating: 3.75 stars.
