I enjoyed this short story and although short, found it emotion filled. Evander is a Reaper and in the course of his job, he meets Piper and feels a connection with her that he's never experienced. Can a Reaper and a human really have a happily ever after? Here's hoping we find out more in the next book. A short story that immediately drew me in!
