The book is divided into two separate short storylines.Lucy and Gideon are the main characters of the first book in this duology, Make Me Want. In order to get a promotion at her toxic male workplace, Lucy needs a husband. A charming friend of Lucy's ex-husband steps in to help her. An endearing, twisty love story unfolds from a simple arrangement. The chemistry between Lucy and Gideon is electric, making for an enjoyable and heartfelt read. The second book, Make Me Crave, introduces us to Allie who struggling to keep her gym profitable. Roman works for an investor who wants to buy out Allie's gym. Despite not knowing each other, they have a fling while on vacation, which intensifies once they realize they are at odds. Robert's skilful interweaving of these two plots is remarkable. I highly recommend for fans of quick spicy novellas. Thank you NetGalley and Katee for a great read.
