Description

In a world where magic intertwines with technology, a vibrant city thrives on the mysteries of foundry magic, where objects can be crafted and imbued with consciousness. At the heart of this tale is Sancia Grado, a skilled thief with a unique ability to communicate with these enchanted objects. Her talents set her apart, allowing her to navigate the underbelly of an intricate city filled with political intrigue and dangerous alliances.

As Sancia becomes entangled in a monumental conspiracy, she discovers that powerful forces are at play, threatening not only her life but the very fabric of society. With the lines between friend and foe blurred, she must rely on her street-smart instincts and her rare gift to uncover the truth. As she delves deeper into the world of foundry magic, Sancia's journey leads her to confront her past, her identity, and the possibility of a brighter future.

Richly layered with inventive world-building and complex characters, this narrative offers a thrilling exploration of power and rebellion. It invites readers to ponder the consequences of ambition and the choices that ultimately define who we are. Sancia's journey is as much about self-discovery as it is about the fight against oppressive forces in a beautifully realized setting that feels both familiar and utterly unique.

The exciting beginning of a promising new epic fantasy series.

This is a unique magic system and world that has kept me interested to the end. The dialogue was a bit lacking but all in an excellent start to the series.

Logical for the most part, but very abstract in many other parts. Interestingly intertwined - but odd.
