This was a light read, perfect for a cozy afternoon or weekend. While there were some funny moments, I found that many parts of the book fell flat because of repetition. I found that this repetitiveness took away from the main story and the development of a friendship into more. I also found that none of the characters really stood out to me or made me feel in any particular way. Perhaps, if I had read the other books in the series first, I would have grown with the family along the way, but ultimately they just felt bland. This is an easy read with some good moments, but all in all, wasn't for me.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
