I was confused at first about what had happened to the land, what caused it to be frozen and constant snow, and some of it was explained and some I am still unsure about. I still really enjoyed reading Frozen. I couldn’t stop reading! I had to know what happened, what was calling Nat and whether or not she would fall for Wes, and him her. They were both trying to trick each other and I wanted to see how that ended. It ended well. De la Cruz and Johnston kept me turning the pages to know if they would get to the Blue, or even if they would live at some points. The magic and wonder was thrilling. The frozen land and harsh government they had to go through and around was creative. I give it four stars for the confusing bits, it gave really no history as to how the world had gotten this way, covered in snow and ice, constantly freezing with the oceans toxic and a harsh government. Other than that it was an amazing ring and I can’t wait to read the rest of this adventure. Thanks to NetGalley for the eBook edition for a review!
