This is the shortest yet quite satisfying of retold tales of Greek Mythology I've ever read. It made me wince a little when I read how Galatea was treated, which from my perspective was really treated like an object or item (even though Galatea is actually a statue according to the story). However, knowing how she was (what I think) was treated quite badly, I was a little hurt as a woman.It feels like women are always expected to remain pure, innocent and flawless to satisfy everyone's egos, especially men.
