Ghostly Images

Whitby, North-East England, 1894. When David is thrown out of work as an apprentice photographer he falls into the clutches of Hood, a charlatan who is eager to exploit him as a spirit photographer.

With reluctance he fakes a number of photographs for Hood, showing the ghosts of dead people on the finished plates.

Although David stubbornly refuses to believe in the supernatural strange shadows were appearing on a number of photographs, including those he had taken of a number of young women.

He hadn't faked these photographs of the young women, but something sinister was happening in Whitby.

Now these women had been brutally murdered.

...And the murderer was now in search of his next victim.
