I've seen all of the movies, and I've had the books for a while, but I never got around to reading them (I started this book a couple years ago but didn't finish it until now). Honestly, what can I say that hasn't already been said about this book? Maybe it's because I watched the movies first, but I just love the characters so much and when they laugh, I laugh, when they cry, I cry. I care about them, I want to see them succeed and be happy. I really enjoyed reading this book! I imagine it's just as amazing an experience if you haven't seen the movies, but seeing them helps a lot with looks and quirks of the characters, I think. No matter your age, you'll most likely fall in love with Harry, who always finds trouble, Hermione, who is so smart and brave, and Ron, who serves not only as comedy relief, but also shows what being a best friend is truly about!

I have never read any of the Harry Potter books but I am a die hard Harry Potter fan I rewatch Harry Potter movies on a daily basis pretty much. So when I got back into reading my number one goal was to buy all the Harry Potter books and read them. Book one down six more books to go and book one has done nothing but make me happy it has led up to the reasons of why I love Harry Potter so much and I cannot wait to start book two.
