Haxen

Portland's magical underground is still reeling from two takeover attempts: the Black Gambit targeting the humans, and the near-enslavement of the Vampire Consulate. Their problems are multiplying in the aftermath. Now, someone using a blnd of magic and traditional hacking is about to put the magical community in the NSA's crosshairs. Knight's not the only one looking for the hacker, and there'll be consequences if anyone else finds them first.

Haxen is a standalone novella in the Gambit series. It takes place roughly after The Necromancer's Gambit (The Gambit 1) and Blood Moon, but before Kindred Spirits (The Gambit 2).
