In the high-stakes world of professional hockey, Shane Hollander's focus is unwavering, with a singular goal: to win. His passion for the game is only rivaled by his complex feelings for his fiercest competitor, whom he can't seem to shake off. The attraction between them simmers beneath their heated exchanges on the ice, creating a tension that is as palpable as it is complicated.

As Shane navigates his own ambitions, he finds himself increasingly drawn into a storm of rivalry and desire. The man he views as his adversary becomes a source of unexpected distractions, challenging him both on and off the ice. Their competitive nature only fuels the flames of their connection, unveiling layers of emotion that Shane never anticipated.

Amid the fierce energy of the sport, the narrative explores themes of identity, love, and the brutal realities of professional athletics. Shane must confront not only the external pressures of the game but also the internal struggle of embracing his true feelings for someone he once considered solely his enemy.

In this electrifying tale of romance and rivalry, Shane discovers that sometimes, the greatest battles are fought in the heart, revealing that love can be as complicated and thrilling as the game itself.

Reviews

3.0

Heated Rivalry was a fast, addictive read with great chemistry and an intense rivals to lovers dynamic. I flew through it in no time, and the tension between Shane and Ilya definitely kept me turning the pages. That said, while it was entertaining, it didn’t fully hit me emotionally the way I expected. The repetition and long term secrecy made parts of the story feel a bit flat for me. Overall, it’s a fun and engaging hockey romance, but not a standout favorite.

reread:idk, but this feels different feom when i first read it, it might be because of the show

Loved their chemistry and story. The scene where the parents find out is peak comedy.
