View AllThis story. The bantering.😭✨️ But most of all had me on the edge of my seat through the last half. I absolutely love and enjoy the world building. The world is so unique, one I havent read yet. 👌Now onto book two ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I read this as a buddy read and we both absolutely loved it!To learn that this was a debut book for the author was a surprise as it really felt like they had been writing much longer. The world building and magick within the story were really well explained and the mystery surrounding Elara's magick had me intrigued, pulling me into the story the more we learned. The found family and female friendships were so lovely and made my heart happy to read of such positive, unconditional support and love. There are many twists towards the cliffhanger ending that gave me emotional whiplash in the best way, with some surprising and shocking revelations. The longing, slow burn relationship between Elara and Enzo will melt even the most icy of hearts. I can't wait to see what happens next!
Rating: 2.5 stars.“You’re the most beautiful woman anywhere. But that wasn’t enough to say. To tell you that you look beautiful seemed a lazy, easy thing to do to describe the way you look. Because I can barely put it into words.”Heavenly Bodies was honestly an experience, to say the least. I went into it with so much excitement, everyone had been talking about it, and the premise sounded like everything I could ever want in a fantasy romance. It promised that magical blend of love, destiny, and danger that usually owns my heart. But somewhere along the way, it just… didn’t hit the way I hoped it would.sigh!!! Honestly, this book had me rolling my eyes so many times I thought they’d get stuck
