the books just keep getting better.So when Beth was first introduced to the reader we know that eventually the storyline of how Beth and Jack get together will be revealed, and I wasn't disappointed.Beth is traumatized she can't bare to be touched, which Jack the SEAL seconded to #Midnightdelta team would love to do. he's determination to keep her safe was strong. The attraction and the feelings that emerge from Beth as Jack slowly breaks down the walls Beth built up after the terrible things that the Guzmans did to her showed that Jack is #midnightdelta material. loyal, tough and with a heart big enough to fight the monsters for Beth. Beth can't relax, she is stuck in a waiting game for her father's trial, with people gunning for the pair, it creates what was a tense story, but in the end, Jack and Beth see light at the end of the tunnel, just as long as they keep a step ahead of the Guzmans lackeys.
