Description
The idyllic floating town known to all as "The City" is much more than just a serene, scenic paradise -- it's a thriving community that has long been considered attack-proof. In fact, its seemingly random flight pattern once assured its denizens that they would always be sheltered from malicious outsiders...but they were wrong. After a surprise attack by what appear to be vampires, D is summoned to the fore to uncover the motives of the striking Raleigh Knight, and the bold John M. Brassalli Pluto VIII. Will D be able to restore peace to this now-chaotic haven?Vampire Hunter D is famed horror-master Hideyuki Kikuchi's revolutionary tale of a beautiful Hunter and the war he is destined to wage against the bloodthirsty Nobility! When a bitter former inhabitant of a once-tranquil airborne city and a fellow evildoer return and take over the flight controls, its up to D to stop the conniving duo from destroying thousands of lives! This exciting volume also contains one-of-a-kind black-and-white illustrations by celebrated artist Yoshitaka Amano.
