His & Hers: A Novel

My second Alice Feeney book did not disappoint. I’ve only read two but she is the queen of twist endings. I read all but maybe 50 pages of this in one sitting. *TW: this did have some really hard parts to read. Nothing graphic, just hard themes.

3.5⭐, but I'm feeling generous.WHAT?!This book didn't really hook me, I don't know why. But the plot twist?! I saw a few people saying it was predictable, so maybe I just missed something in the story, but my jaw was on the floor at the last chapters.

His & Hers by Alice Feeney really said “there are always two sides to the story” and had me questioning everyone from page 1 🫣📚this story hooked me instantly and did not let go. the dual perspective plays with your mind in the best way, constantly shifting what you think you know.i loved the writing style and all the little twists. not knowing who did it until the very end had me fully locked in 🫣 every time i thought i figured it out… nope.but i do feel like the ending missed something, i just cant put my finger on it. it was shocking, messy, and completely unexpected, but there’s still this small feeling like one final piece didn’t fully land.but i loved it none the less4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐it loses a star because even though the twists kept coming, the ending didn’t hit as hard as i wanted it to. still, this book is addictive, sharp, and will have you doubting every single character until the last page 😈
