Holiness: the false & the true

This book, by beloved author and preacher, H. A. Ironside, should be required reading for every Christian. It details in very clear terms the author’s own struggle for holiness. It is a deeply personal account of his conversion and subsequent involvement with the “holiness movement.”

The influence of this false teaching which placed him under the law and his struggle to be “holy” ultimately led him to a breakdown.

It was through God’s Word that he began to rejoice in the wonderful truth that not only is
salvation by grace, but personal sanctification and victory are by grace as well. “Sin shall not
have dominion over you: for ye are not un- der law, but under grace” (Romans 6:14).

We are thankful that this book is again available for the help of any of God’s children who are
struggling with
these issues.
