Home for the Haunting

In the vibrant city of San Francisco, Mel Turner, a dedicated contractor, finds herself at the helm of a volunteer home renovation project. As she dives into the task, the rustic charm of the old house reveals hidden secrets, intertwining the past with the present in unexpected ways. The project not only aims to restore the physical structure but also to unearth stories woven into its very fabric.

As Mel leads a diverse group of volunteers, she discovers that each person brings their own unique background and energy, transforming the renovation into a journey of self-discovery and companionship. Yet, the cheerful hustle and bustle is soon disrupted by eerie occurrences — whispers in the night and flickering lights suggest that the house harbors more than just dust and memories.

Amid the ghostly happenings, Mel learns to confront her own fears and past while navigating the complexities of the human spirit. Each haunting moment serves as a catalyst for both personal growth and bonding among the team, as they glean insights from the echoes of those who once called the house home.

As the renovation progresses, so does Mel’s understanding of her own sense of belonging. With each stroke of paint and hammer’s strike, she unwittingly unravels the history that connects her and her crew to the unknown inhabitants of the past, ultimately realizing that some homes are meant to hold both the living and the spirits of yesteryear.
