How to Train Your Dragon

Cressida Cowell - Como Treinar Seu Dragão. 🦎🐲Terminei o primeiro livro de Como Treinar o Seu Dragão e fiquei surpresa: eu não fazia ideia de que a história era baseada em 12 livros!Logo de início, estranhei bastante porque o livro é totalmente diferente do filme. Essas diferenças me frustraram um pouco e precisei de um tempinho para me acostumar com esse universo mais… engraçado (principalmente por conta do Dragonês, não esperava mesmo por essa). Mas a leitura é tão rápida, cheia de ilustrações e com um humor bem leve que, quando percebi, já tinha terminado, e acabei gostando!É uma história divertida, com aquele tom de aventura infantil que funciona bem e traz momentos bem engraçados. Porém, o filme é mil vezes melhor!😅Mesmo assim, fiquei curiosa para ver como a história evolui ao longo dos outros livros.P.S.: Senhor! O Stoico é um bobalhão, meu Deus!!!! Odiei! Mas ele se redimiu, pelo menos isso.

I had super high expectations because ji love the movies and the serie how to train your dragon. Unfortunately the book is super different then the movie. Some amazing characters that appear in the movies weren't in the book. Toothless is one of my favorite dragons, but in this book he could annoy me from time to time. If you love the movies and serie don't bother reading this it's not the same. However if you are looking for a fun children book this can be a fun adventures book.

If you're looking for something a lot like the movie, look a bit elsewhere. This book still maintains the charm of the movie but has a completely different storyline. Otherwise, I am in love with these kid friendly books and will most likely be devouring them in the very near future.
