Humbug

Humbug emerged as a groundbreaking comic magazine that offered a fresh take on satire and humor, much like its predecessor, MAD. Under the innovative vision of Harvey Kurtzman, the publication captured the spirit of the times with its sharp wit and clever parodies. Featuring contributions from renowned artists like Jack Davis, Will Elder, Al Jaffee, and Arnold Roth, each page brims with irreverent commentary and hilarious illustrations.

Though it may not have enjoyed the same long-lasting fame as MAD, Humbug holds a special place in the pantheon of comic history. It showcased a unique blend of humor and artistry that resonated with readers who appreciated a more sophisticated approach to comedy. The collective efforts of these talented creators helped define a new era in American humor, leaving a lasting impact on both the genre and its audience.
