I read this book JUST because it appears in umpteen GR similar lists. Quite frankly I found it hard to like the Quiet Man/Puckoon vibe that French was trying to create. I wasn't sympathetic to Trey at all. Would I recommend this to people? After the murder. and there is one, it gets better but it is a long slog.
