In Them Days

Julianna Chandler, ambitious, compassionate and fearless, took the Bass River Vally by storm in 1918. Feminist, crusader and would-be doctor, she shocked the community by openly sharing her views on sex and birth control, women's rights and health, politics and education. Newly wed to the community's wealthiest farmer, Julianna's startling beauty and fearless activism make her the undisputed start of In Them Days, an engrossing and informed look back at the prejudices, challenges and turmoil that farming communities faced in the 1920's.
