View AllI LOVED THIS BOOK!!! At first I thought that maybe it was going to be kind of corny with the whole idea of sudden instant karma but I was pleasantly surprised. And some might say that this book is a classic romance story that you can see coming but I again was pleasantly surprised and didn't see certain things coming. There were a lot of twists and turns, aspects coming back after many chapters in ways you probably wouldn't predict. I absolutely loved Meyer's character development and plot development. I could actually feel the emotions with the characters. For part of the book, I read this along with an audio book and the narration there was great too! I would definitely recommend!! So we start out the book hating Quint. And like Prudence, I REALLY didn't like him. But then after finding out all that Quint has done for the center and his hard work, I was so angry at Prudence. And she didn't even seem to care. I wasn't 100% sure but I am glad that the snorkeling adventure was a bit of a game changer for her. Maybe I am a bit naïve but I didn't see the romance coming in the way that it did. And I sure didn't see Shauna's big story coming either. What a plot twist! I love this idea of instant karma but I am glad that it didn't completely run the story. I loved all of the adventures at the center and how much the characters developed throughout the story. Kind of wish there would be a sequel where Quint and Prudence try to save the music store together :)
