We can all agree that space is scary. It's full of aliens that want to shoot you, aliens that want to eat you, or aliens that want to do both. That's a lot of danger to add onto being in an endless void. In order to survive that, you've got to be hard, and you've got to have luck. Casting such a hero is a lot of work, so there's nobody in this comic like that. There is a guy who steals paintings with his spaceship, though.
