The elaborately laid ornate table resides on a marble chessboard style plateau, set upon a limestone cliff and overlooking a multicoloured sea supporting an ever-changing sky. Yet the guests who miraculously find themselves in such a beautiful and unique place with no memories of why they’re there, or how they got there, wonder why they’re so special to be amongst the five places at the table… Forster Whitlock, one of the five guests, grows increasingly suspicious of a man who gives himself the title The Host. It seems this man has lured them all there for a specific reason, delighting and inquisitive over his guest’s interactions and insights.As charming as he is callous, The Host forces each of his guests to recount through various methods and bizarre and often torturous tests, to realise and re-live their darkest acts and inhibitions.With a small army of mute waiters at his disposal, The Host has his guests under his control and with the threat that if they leave the table they will die, the guests have no other choice but to do as The Host requests.Along with the other guests, Forster Whitlock is forced to recall the vivid event that prompted The Host to bring them all to the plateau…
