Description
He went looking for a story. He found a terrifying and blood-soaked reality.
It’s 1960. Desmond Bangbourne has travelled to sunny Trinidad to write a story about the infamous pirate and gangster Boysie Singh, hanged three years earlier. After interviews with family and locals fail to turn up useful information, Desmond is given an address to visit…after dark. There he meets the person he was least expecting, and the story pulls him into a murderous and soul-shaking encounter with the am’r (the vampires’ name for themselves.) Will Desmond be able to return to the sanity of the daylight world, or will he be trapped in a story he never should have pursued?
This story features characters from The Blood & Ancient Scrolls Series by Raven Belasco.
