View All✨️Audiobook review✨️ It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Absolutely LOVED this book. Finished it so quick. I thought Piper seemed so high maintenence and bratty at first and my attitude towards her completely changed by the end of the book. I loved Brendan, a bit of a grump and very set in his ways. But he completely falls first and hard. And thanks to Piper, learns that change can be good. The narration was great, kept me hooked and easy to follow. I love duel narration. Dual POV too. Plenty of
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this story. I'm not usually a fan of Tessa's but this one hit the mark for me.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the amount of character development in this book, watching socialite Piper Bellinger and fisherman Brendan Taggart grow as people as the book progresses was awe inspiring. I even loved the side characters! I can't wait to follow Hannah's story in Hook, Line & Sinker later this month!
