Description

On an ordinary, sweltering day, the promise of a delightful cookout turns into a foreboding scene when an ominous dark cloud appears on the horizon. The atmosphere shifts as the sun's warmth is eclipsed, casting an eerie pall over the neighborhood. As the skies open up, an unsettling, violet-hued rain begins to fall, rendering the familiar landscape into something profoundly disquieting.

In the aftermath of the storm, the community is forced to confront unexplainable phenomena and harrowing changes that threaten their very existence. Relationships strained and fears magnified, the characters must navigate this surreal reality, where normalcy has slipped away and the line between the known and the unfathomable blurs. With tension mounting and the stakes rising, they uncover secrets that could either save them or lead to their ultimate demise.

The only thing good and positive I can really say about the book is that I loved how it ended. Other than that, the style of writing that Stephen King does. It's just not my route. So I think novellas by him or just not my style.
