Description
Ruth Steadman comes to a small village in the Yorkshire moors to do some research for a TV series. But she finds that the people of Jacob's Well seem bitterly hostile towards her. What do they have to hide? Why is the vicar leaving, so full of hate? Is there really a curse shadowing the family at Blackledge Hall? Above all, who is Jason Carpenter? The truth is so haunting unique that Ruth's life will never be quite the same again...
