Another excellently crafted detective novel from Galbraith. Tightly plotted, barely a spare word anywhere, vivid descriptions abounding, great dialogue, dark humour too in places. Also, I am really enjoying seeing the wonderful relationship between Strike and Robin develop, and hearing about Strike's old school and army buddies.

I am really enjoying J.K. Rowlings mystery novels, Private investigator Cormoran Strike and his assistant Robin Ellcott are wonderful. Cormoran is smart, strong, witty and vulnerable and Robin is plucky and eager yet had a backbone to become more than just the receptionist. The Silkworm, is full of intrigue and twists and turns ... looking forward to the next adventure. I give this book 4 1/2 stars.
