Description
The journal from running my first Ultramarathon race in the UK called The Wall. A 69 mile ultra run along Hadrian's Wall, a designated world heritage site.
I will share with you how this former sofa jockey trained, how I ate and the many ups and downs of getting to the start line. My journal covers a 12 month period culminating with a blow by blow account of the 2 day race itself.
Read about the many miles of training, the car crash just before the event and how I met "god's dalek" in a scarecrow competition on the second day.
Written for both runners and non-runners alike.
