👩‍🍳 Audiobook Review 🥘I have watched the movie several times.  With great casting and fantastic comedy, I was excited to read this book.   To be honest, I liked the movie better, and I'm usually a strict 'the book is always better' kind of girl. She talks about food and people's political party persuasion more than you'd expect. This is an example of the personalization she brings to the book and, I guess, the blog.  It's just, she seems to be a biased person on several fronts, so the book was cool from the cooking perspective, but I didn't really care for her commentary outside of the cooking.I love that Julie narrates the audiobook herself! It's always great to hear a memoir-y book in the author's own words.  Listening to the narration itself was a high point for me. The book was fine.  It won't ever beat out the movie for me.  I will say the adaptation did a pretty good job at staying in line with the book.  The book itself is an adaptation of a year long blog, so I'm not sure exactly which one the movie is supposed to align to If you like A J. Jacobs's challenge books, you cook at home and want to commiserate 😂, or you liked the movie Julie & Julia, you may like this book. Triggers: Cursing, Body Shaming, Animal Butchery (live)P.S. My husband made us Beef Bourguignon two nights ago.  It was delicious.  🤓 IYKYK
