View AllIt was actually a good book - started off a little slow but I loved the way the relationship developed - the angst, the violence etc. I still believe He is hiding something and I'm very intrigued - surely it won't be another betrayal but I fear it is something important. But what I found myself always smiling at was Poppy and Kieran's interactions - the banter, teasing, embarrassing - it was all very cute. I will say I ask don't understand why Rylan, Phillips, and the other guards had to die but the story has moved on from them and I'm finding it harder and harder to dislike Him. He still isn't the perfect book boyfriend - too horny tbh - but he's growing on me. The ending had my heart racing - the battle, the calls to the wolves, (the carriage scene ;))the temple scene, the revelation!!Good book, a little slow to start but good nonetheless
