Description
Alexis Hert isn’t a hero, and she certainly isn’t a god. All she’s ever been is a survivor.
But the Fates disagree.
When a blood test leads to her admittance at the Spartan War Academy, she’ll have to do more than merely survive.
Alexis will have to claim her birthright: immortality.
But immortality is a privilege, one earned in the crucible of the academy, where the heroes are villains and classrooms battlegrounds. While gladiators Achilles and Patro, her demanding mentors, hone her into a warrior, Augustus and Kharon, her professors and the brooding heirs to the underworld, haunt her steps and her thoughts.
Because where there are gods, there are bound to be monsters, and there is more than one hunting Alexis…

View AllThis book had me thoroughly enthralled and I just didn’t want to put it down! I appreciated the occasional different point of view that allowed information only to be revealed once it was ready. I loved the world building and the uniqueness of the setting even though it had some common tropes such as trials. The ending had me clawing to start the next book right away! Definitely worth the read
I am a dark romance/pitch black girlie and this book was a breath of fresh air. It was exactly what I was searching for..something light, funny, easy to read and most importantly sexually tensed. I loved how well the tension between the characters was created, how the spice was minimal like a forbidden fruit and that’s why you wanted it even more. I loved the way this book is written, it is so light, like you read and enjoy it without having to think too much about any hidden messages. The humor here is great, Nyx is the best and Alexis is such a shy unsure in herself badass. Of course of, course the MMCs 😏 every single one different, unique, dangerous and hot as hell. I don’t get why this book has so many bad reviews. Truly, it’s not even my typical genre, but I loved it from the start. I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants to have a chill read, just rest, relax, not worry about anything and enjoy the book. And the fact that it’s not true Greek mythology and Jasmine has her own vision on the world she created is what I admire the most. I didn’t come to read historical literature, I came to read about sexy Spartans. Thank you for delivering!
