Larry the Liger - the Rainy Night

Meet Larry the Liger - his father was a lion, his mother was a tiger!
Larry is enjoying the splendour of the summer; spending his days playing and admiring the garden in bloom until one night when everything changes and no one saw it coming...
In June 2013 Prague and other parts of Central Europe experienced terrible floods. Many animals had to be evacuated from Prague Zoo and many people and zoo staff worked through the night to move the zoo animals to safety.
The Rainy Night follows Larry’s adventures as he and Chloe the cat try to escape the rising flood waters to get to higher ground. With new animals to help and new friends for Larry to make along the way this is a lovely children’s chapter book that is beautifully illustrated by the text.
This is the eighth book in the Larry the Liger Series; recommended to be read to children from 2 to 8 years old and by children of 6 to 12 years old, who can read alone.
