And with every day that passes, you will get back a little piece of yourself.”I had no expectations or ideas of what this book would be when I first cracked it open. I had no idea of the plot or structure because I made sure to stay away from social media video’s and hypes of this book to give it a better chance since I was already apprehensive. And, at first, it was a little bit slow but it really did pick up when all of the characters started to meet each other and the plot started twining together beautifully. I love how the two POV’s we get from the MMC and the FMC aren’t love interests with each other, but rather have separate love interests and how this book is more about politics and personal agenda’s than it is about war. Sure, there are threats of it, but so far, it’s only about betrayals and secrets and dirty politics which is intriguingly good.Thank you for your review.
A wonderful story very well written. The world it draws into is full of mystery and devotion around every corner. Written dual POV but my favorite was Kel. I love a good cliff hanger, Kel we get that but I don’t feel that way with Lin. I am excited to see what happens next for Kel and Lin.
