There’s absolutely nothing in this story that isn’t perfect. There’s not even much to say — just six stars, favorite, perfection.
I really love this book. It has the high fantasy world and vibe whilst still being cozy. Im so used to fantasy books with lots of fighting so this one was a great and refreshing change of pace.
There are so many things I could of said about this book after I read it. However I have short term memory loss and have forgot most of it.I gave this 5 stars when I read it and still agree with that now!This was the literal perfect cozy fantasy book. I adored the characters so much, the found family trope was done beautifully. I was out here kicking my lil feet while adoring the characters.I would kill for more books like this. I need more. I cannot wait to read the next book released in this series.I would recommend this to anyone who needs a cozy, fall book. Low stakes. Mainly character driven. Beautiful vibes.
Probably a 4/5 total, but after spending some time with this book, I'm giving it a 5 because it would feel wrong not to. Easy read, extremely cozy, and a very cute sapphic pair to warm up to quickly.It isn't a difficult read, in fact, it is more simple than not - but not every book has to be that something more. It was a short book too, only approximately 300 pages so I took my time with it to really enjoy the nice atmosphere and characters, as well as the "low stakes" narrative it gave me. Also, it really surprised me to find this is the author's debut novel - and honestly that is a victory in of itself, and why I would suggest people to give it a chance :DTo put it simply, this book felt to me like when Animal Crossing: New Horizons released and I got to take my time and settle back into playing such a cozy game like that, but this time of having the advantage of not needing to terraform! TLDR: Cozy and short, not perfect but still really great. Also sapphic which I, personally, really appreciate reading about for once.
Didn't enjoy it. Character development was kind of lacking. You had to do your own world building. I personally enjoy have the author build it for me
This whole story was so cute and sweet. Viv and Tandri are adorable, and the found family element is so comforting, especially the ending.
Legends & LattesAudiobook⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I picked this book because of the hype around it. I went in expecting a cozy fantasy, but it turned out to be a true cozy book with a little romance and friendship. The writing felt quick and straight to the point, which made reading it feel easy and fast.The plot was very simple, and overall it worked really well.The characters were engaging and I wish I knew more about them. They carried the story as it was mostly character driven.The ending fell short to me, leaving me feeling a little left on the edge. I was listening to audiobook while cleaning and didn't realize the end of the book until it said Epilogue. Overall, this book felt safe and cozy. I’d recommend it to readers who enjoy a cozy sapphic read.
This was such a cozy read and it was nice to slow down and not be one dramatic happening after the other, this was a much more relaxing pace to read and gods did it make me want to go find a bakery, the food descriptions alone make this book worth the read haha
I’m normally a full on romance girly but this was just so cute and cozy. A bit of romance. The narration was great.
Absolutely gorgeous storytelling and an amazing cast of characters. Never thought I'd see the day a male writer knows how to write women.
This book is the greenest book ever i read in a while but the last 9 chapter after the fire is abit boring so tbh not gonna lie i skip skip skip and read the last epilogue but its good not gonna lieI love the main character the others side character and so on so on The village basically the green nice old people type of village 3/5
it's a good book, nothing more, nothing lessdid it give me the cozy, calm feeling i was hoping for? yes!was it interesting enough that it was hard to put down? also yes!but did i think about it after reading or plan to read it ever again? nonothing wrong with that, if that's what you're looking for, the book is just not mind blowing
Comfy, cozy, and warmI loved this book. It's such a cozy story about pursuing what you want and finding your people. The pacing is a little off in places, but I found it made me slow down and enjoy the story for what it is
