Description
The famous poem "Lenore" by Gottfried August Bürger, translated from German. It is often considered one of the first gothic stories that deals with the theme of vampires (although that name isn't directly mentioned, but there is a character that returns from the grave).
This dark poem is one of the earliest examples of gothic romance in poetry.
