A collection of ten letters written to a young aspiring poet. Through these letters, Maria Rilke reflects on the nature of art, creativity, solitude, self-exploration, love, and patience. The letters emphasize the importance of inner experience and personal truth over external validation, the importance of embracing solitude and introspection, asserting that true art comes from deep self knowledge and not from conforming to others' expectations. The book is insightful, eloquent, poetic, and meditative, and I loved every second of it.
